Welcome to the 2019-20 academic year!

This month's issue of our newsletter opens with an invitation to attend the Board of Advisors Golf Outing, which will raise funds for the newly established SoM Scholarship Program. We also highlight the grand opening of the School of Management Career Center and the slew of career-centric events they have planned for students this fall. In a similar vein, two new business courses will be introduced this semester that focus on preparing students to get the most out of their internships and careers. We welcome four new faculty members to the school, applaud those who have received tenure and/or promotions, and review research news and fall course electives. Last but by no means least, we meet a busy alumna who's studying for both her MBA and JD degrees and a current student who spent last spring interning at the White House.
