Professional Lecturer of Information Systems
Chris Algozzine is a graduate of Marist College, Class of 1989 and 1995M, and has returned “home” to the Marist School of Computer Science and Mathematics as a Professional Lecturer after a successful career at IBM.
Chris was employed for 26 years by IBM in positions ranging from robotics software developer to operating system tester. He became a manager leading teams in test, development, solutions engineering, and product marketing during his career. He is now a retired IBM Executive, a father of three teenage children, an avid outdoorsman, and proud to be engaged in the next chapter of his career at his alma mater, where he teaches upper-level IT and IS electives, as well as the capstone experiential project course.
Chris and his wife Bonny (Marist Class of 1994) are also proud that their oldest child, Andrea, is a member of the Marist College Class of 2019, pursuing her degree in Mathematics Education.
