IRS Data Retrieval:

The Department of Education has enhanced the FAFSA filing process to allow tax data to be retrieved directly from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The IRS Data Retrieval Tool will allow the filed federal tax return data to be uploaded directly to the FAFSA. If you haven’t already done so, we strongly encourage you to use this tool as it is the fastest, most secure way to provide verified tax information.
