Adult Student Scholarships

Marist Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Eligibility Requirements: 3.0 GPA and 60 transferable credits, full-time study (12-15 credits)
Award Amount: $2,500 per semester

Adult Learner Scholarship

(Full-time study 12-15 credits)
Eligibility Requirements: 2.5 GPA and 60 transferable credits, full-time enrollment
Award Amount: $1,500 per semester

(Part-time study 6-11 credits)
Eligibility Requirements: 2.5 GPA and 60 transferable credits, part-time enrollment
Award Amount: $750 per semester

No more than one merit scholarship will be awarded to each student.  Students cannot receive a merit award and a 25% Discount together. The Office of Student Financial Services will award the higher allocation if a student qualifies for both awards.

Specialty Scholarships

John G. Karrer Scholarship - This scholarship for $600/academic year will be awarded to two students who are registered at least half-time and present good academic standing in a degree-granting program.  For additional information and to apply for this scholarship, please visit the Office of Student Financial Services. 

Bro. James Kearney Scholarship for the Blind - The Bro. James Kearney Scholarship for the Blind (formerly, Lavelle Fund College Scholarship Program) aims to help make quality undergraduate and graduate education affordable for Tri-State New York areas residents who are legally blind and demonstrate financial need.  Toward this end, the Lavelle Fund for the Blind (the Fund) is awarding scholarship grants to selected colleges in the New York City area.  For additional information please contact accommodations@marist.edu or visit Brother James Kearney Scholarship for the Blind.
