The School of Liberal Arts (SLA) offers majors in English, French, History, Italian, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, and Spanish. Many students combine their major with an SLA minor, such as Cognitive Science Studies, Global Studies, Paralegal Studies, or Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In other cases, students pursue a minor or second major in a field outside the SLA, such as Business, Digital Media, or Environmental Studies. Pursuing an SLA major or minor allows students to sharpen their skills as critical thinkers, speakers, analysts, and writers.
